You can find supportive woodturning lessons in a welcoming studio, perfect for complete beginners, anxious, neurodivergent learners and curious minds of all kinds.
I started my woodturning journey more than two decades ago, on an old second-hand lathe. In 2020, I founded Possum Studio, focusing on woodturning and mixed media such as resin casting. Teaching woodturning was a natural step given my many years of experience working in Higher Education as a Professor in International Relations..
I am particulary welcoming of women, neurodivergent, and anxious learners, in an environment where questions are always welcome and mistakes are simply part of the process.
And you can find some of my previous works and current ones for sale on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PossumStudio. I am available for turning commissions as well.
